This sculpture is a representation of the fully reconstructed skeleton of the Brazilian theropod dinosaur Santanaraptor placidus on a death position and partly covered by sediments. It was made for children activities at the Museu da Vida (Fiocruz). It was made to be buried on a sand box for children to learn how paleontologist does find dinosaurs. It was made in several parts to allow for different distributions of the bones on the sediment.

This model was constructed on January, 2007 using polyurethane and epoxy resin. The original pieces were molded with silicon and casts in polyester resin were manufactured. The molding process was accomplished at the paleovertebrate sector in Museu Nacional by a team specialized on cast production.
