Scale model of Angaturama limai (=? Irritator challengeri), a crested Spinosaurid Theropod from the Araripe Basin, Northeastern Brazil. Model exhibited in the exposition "Em Busca dos Dinossauros" ("Searching for Dinosaurs"), in the Museu Nacional, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from June 6 to September 7, 2003.

Constructed between January and June, 2003, with epoxy resin and polyurethane, the model has a total length of 130 cm (scale 1:6). The head was constructed based on A. limai and I. challengeri. The body was based on that of other Spinosaurids, such as Spinosaurus aegyptiacus and Suchomimus tenerensis. The animal was made with a dorsal "sail" based on some fossils of vertebrae, still being described in the Museu Nacional, which present tall neural spines and may belong to A. limai or I. challengeri.

The snout of this model was corrected on 2004, to fix an error on the crest shape. (All photos are from the corrected model.)
