Life size reconstruction of the head of Angaturama limai, a crested Spinosaurid Theropod from the Early Cretaceous Araripe Basin (northeastern Brazil). Only the premaxilla and part of the maxilla of Angaturama is known. The rest of the skull was based on the preserved portions of Irritator challengeri (that lack the snout), from the same locality (and that maybe belong to the same species).
Constructed on September, 2005, this model was presented on a paleoart exhibition at the II Latin American Congress of Vertebrate Paleontology (Rio de Janeiro - August, 2005).
